soft stack ecology
sse ยท philosophy ยท tools ยท ecology
sse is the master framework i work within, treating my digital and physical infrastructure as living ecology, something to tend rather than optimize. my systems breathe, fail slowly, get composted, and regrown.
the name is deliberate. soft resists hardness, brittleness, and the ideology of scale. stack acknowledges that my tools are layered and interdependent. ecology insists that the whole system, including me as the person maintaining it, has to be considered, and not just the individual component.
sse sits at the center of my map because everything else routes through it. zenops is its operational expression, tool farming is its production philosophy, soft circuits is its craft practice, and the keystones are its philosophical refinements.
in practice: boom has a history file i can read in a text editor. rssprint has no dependencies to rot. audiovis is a shell script i can open and understand in five minutes. these are sse artifacts.
