after sylvia sylvia wynter. in plantation economies, the provision ground, the small plot where enslaved people grew their own food outside the plantation's system, was a site of resistance, alternative economy, and self-definition. wynter reads the plot as the model for any practice that operates outside dominant systems of value: the small, tended, personal space that produces what the dominant system cannot and will not produce.

tool farming is plot logic. the personal cli, the self-hosted garden, and the zero-dependency zine tool are plots, not products. they produce sustenance and selfhood outside the platform economy's logic.
